Hi,

I have noticed the name DORE mentioned several times & wondered if any
of them had SHEATH connections?
My grandfather Ernest Abraham DORE Sheath was born 1873 in
Portsmouth,Hampshire but his father & all previous generations were born
in the IOW & I was told the name DORE was thought to be a 'family' name
but so far I am unable to confirm this. Can anyone help?
