I am an avid collector of the name LININGTON (and its variants) and have
numerous in my family tree and 'unattached' database. Although I have
several Alfreds and Georges listed who might be your folk, I have no
knowledge of the two marriages you mentioned.

I would be very interested to learn about any further details you might
have on these marriages, or names of parents/siblings/children, to see if I
can establish a connection.

Hi, Angela. Noticed Linnington in your list of names. I have an Alfred
Linnington (d. 1885) who married Martha Knight (b. 1845), and his father,
George Linnington (b. abt. 1785) who married Ann Barnett. Supposedly they
were associated with Linnington Carriages. Any connection?
