I think this may have been a college at Ryde, not to be confused with the
present Isle of Wight College - I noticed advertisements for it in the
1892 Isle of Wight Observer I was looking at last week in the Lord Louis
Library

PS Any old Carisbrooke Grammar schoolchildren out there? Bernie Noyes
taught science when I was there 1962 - 70.
