I'd appreciate any information one might have on

Stephen GROVES, born 1800 at Kingston Cottage near East Cowes on IOW, baptized at Whippingham Church. Married Isabella Gray in Greenock, Scotland in 1828. Returned and baptized his first daughter, Janet Groves, at Whippingham in September, 1829. He was a mariner. He is buried at Greenock East Parish, Scotland.
