Hello,
In the fall of 2002 I published a book on the Cheek family in the USA,
with a smaller segment on the IOW Cheke family. In addition, my sister
visited Mottistone and the IOW this past summer (2002); (we live in Plymouth,
Michigan, USA --- our mother is a Cheek).
I'm continuing to research the Cheke / Cheek family on both sides of 'the
pond', and am surprised that so far I have not found a deeper, more
authoritative genealogy on Sir John Cheke's ancestors and descendants.
Do you know where this reposititory of information might be located
