Like anyone else who has already managed to trawl through their IOW
marriages and update their records, I am glad to have done it before any
dates have been deleted. But the GRO and the Registrar can take comfort
from the fact that I will still be ordering the certificates that are of the
most interest to me, for the other family information contained, and would
have lived without those of less importance even though the index was
missing the specific days and months.
