Dear IOW List,
In our tree we have a Charles LANE, born 1868, Arreton, son of Henry and
Mary (WHITTINGTON).
While trying to find someone else, I have received Charles' birth certificate.
9th February 1867, Arreton, registered by Mary on 16th March 1867.
Perhaps the 1868 date was his baptism.
I had the Charles/Henry details from someone ages ago - sorry to have
forgotten who it was................
As Charles is not in our immediate line, would someone else like to have
the certificate, or a copy?
Sorry to be vague - another computer disaster. If anyone out there is
expert on transferring information - Eudora email/Family Origins - from our
old hard drive to our new computer, please let me know - it's a nightmare
at the moment. Have lost a week's emails in the attempt to transfer .....
