I have a visitation for Hampshire on the Leigh family. Benjamin is the son of Barnabas Leigh and Mabell Dingley. It says Barnabas is the son of another Barnabus Leigh of Stoke Hambden, Somerset and Grace Light.

I am interested in Mark Harley (1535-1598) who married Fortune Leigh supposedly in 1572. In Mark Harley's will dated Sept 12, 1598 he mentions his "brothers" John Leigh esq. and Barnabas Leigh of Shalfleet.

Hope this is of interest to those doing Leighs. If anyone has more information on Fortune Leigh I would be appreciative.
