1. I have a Jacob CHIVERTON, b.1808 = 1837 Maria DOWNER (b. 1813).
If he is the one to whom you refer, and without going into dates
at this stage, Maria was:

d/o Stephen DOWNER and Elizabeth TAYLOR. Stephen was
s/o Isaac DOWNER and Ann(e) LACEY
s/o Isaac DOWNER and Grace Perkins
s/o Isaack DOWNER and Mary ?
s/o Edward DOWNER (b.1620) and Margaret WARDER

My ancestors include the above Edward and Isaack, through Isaack's son

Andrew DOWNER = Mary ?
John DOWNER = Elizabeth NEWNHAM
Edward DOWNER = Ann(e) CHIVERTON
and on through several generations to me.

2. I have eight William CHIVERTONs, three of whom were married to DOWNERs.

3. I do not have the Jane CHIVERTON to whom you refer. I have three Janes:

b. 1784, d/o William CHIVERTON and Sarah DOWNER
b. 1788, d/o John CHIVERTON and Rebecca DOWNER
b. 1838, d/o Joseph CHIVERTON and Hannah DOWNER
