Chieti is actually a town in the "county" of Chieti, which is the region of Abruzzo. So, Taranta Peligna, Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy is the designation. Or, Chieti, Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy.

I think the Ben Lippis who my Rocco was living with was married to a Natale. I was told that we are cousins to the Natale's of Taranta Peligna > North Denver, but it is the one relationship in the bunch that I haven't been able to figure out, so far. If Ben Lippis was married to a Natale, she could have been an aunt or cousin to Rocco. But at this point it is surmise. Lippis was not one of the more common names. In Fremont County as a whole, there were quite a few Santarelli's, Moschetti's and Madonna's from Taranta Peligna.

We are just up the road a piece from you in Gilbert. Let me know what you find out. Do you know Chuck Schafer and his wife? She is related to the Lippis lines in Canon City and he was actively researching a few years back. I have lost touch with him but think they were in Colorado Springs.

I will double check through my database to see if there is anything else that might help you out.
