Hi Sue,

I know you inquired a while back if I could make a connection with your
SANTORO and BENEVENTI ancestors. Istill don't have any more info than
before but I'll post it again just in case.

Castelmezzano, Italy:
Peter (Pietro) BENEVENTI married to an unknown PATERNO.
Catherine(Caterina) married Michael (Michele) SANTORO, born 1854
Joseph Michael (Guiseppe Michele) born May 21, 1879
Theresa married and unknown LIOCCI in Florida, USA
Carmela

Michele SANTORO, and illiterate stone mason, immigrated to New York
City, USA, about 1884. His wife Caterina followed with the two
children, Joseph and Theresa about 1888-90.

This is as much as I know of the family prior to settling in the US.
However, I'm sure there must be a connection between our families Sue.
I wish I knew more. Just wanted to stay in touch although I still have
nothing new to add.
