Dee,
You can also try the Mormon Family History Centers. Go online to
www.familysearch.org if you don't find anything there you canlook at the
indexes of the areas you want to search say Firenze males births between
these dates. Then you can order the microfilms for about $5.00 each. They
will arriveat your local family history center where you can go to view them
on the equipment they have. You do not have to be a mormon, and there is no
charge other than the charge for "borrowing"the microfilms. I think they
will keep them for you for about a month and you can extend that as well if
you need to. The people there are very nice and you may also meet others
that are researching that can offer tips for you.
Also I think the Italian records are great because they give you tons of
information sometimes 3 generations on one church birth entry because they
will list the child born and the parents, sometimes the grandparents and
great grandparents. Good Luck!

will try that now. This is the worst addiction I have ever had and I'm
determined to find that town before 2009. I actually found one DeMarino I
thought was my grand father but it didn't give a town, it said Italy. I
cannot find my grand mothers name at all.
