I just discovered this list and this is my first post to it. My
mother's family originates from Terrasini, immigrating to Detroit,
Michigan in the early 1900s. My grandfathers name is Guiseppe Mazzola.
He married Domenica Maniaci on one of his return trips to the 'old
country', bringing his bride to back to Detroit to live. My great
grandparents were Mercurio Mazzola and Grace Randazzo. My great grand
parents on Domenica's side were Salvatore Maniaci and Anna Palazzola.

I am planning a visit to Terrasini in the spring of 2006. Do any of you
have tips for gathering information or documents while I'm there? Many
