Hi Anna - If you have exact birthdates you can get certified copies from the
city hall in Terrasini. Give them the name and dates and they will look up
in the original record books. Great thing to film or video tape. The chisea
madre S.S. Maria del Grazie has records prior to 1800. The problem is the
pastor has a long history of not cooperating.

There is an interpreter that knows genealogy that you can hire for a couple
hundred buck that lives near Agrigento.

Don't stay at Citta del Mare. It's not worth the money. There are a couple
other places in town. Check out Terrasini.com - Perla del Golfo, Terrasini
200 and a few others.

I'm going with my sister-in-law again April 11- 20 2006.

I have more info if you would like. I live in Seattle, but grew up in St
Clair Shores.

Family names our Licavoli, Bologan, Frontiera & Parisi. And in 1800's
Ciaramitaro, Moceri, Zerilli and another branch of Licavoli.. I have cousins
who are Palazzola. They grew up in Wyandotte.

Have fun!

Janice Prezzato
