In "A Taste of Memories from the Old Bush", there is a picture of Tony
Fabian with the following notation below the picture: Tony Fabian in the
doorway of Shoe Repair Shop on South Park St. Tony arrived here in 1914
from his village of Piana dei Albanese. The shop still stands--next to the
shop he built to accomodate his business. Tony's son, George, took over the
business in 1968. Friends drop in daily to chat--just as they did when Tony
was in charge.

On another page there is a picture of "Irene "Ike" Capadona and Anne
Intravaia Cerniglia, First Prize winners at a Halloween Party held at the
Italian Workmen's Club with Nunzio Maltese in the background." It is a
charming picture of the youngsters dressed as a 'bride' and 'groom' and an
adult sitting to their side.

While the recipes are all excellent, I truly enjoy the pictures and the
stories. If you would like more short stories occasionally, I will submit
more. If you are iinterested in the books, contact me personally at my
address below my name.
