Dear friends, public schools are under the control of local government. This
is not an election for school committee. Federal policy has little impact on
the local schools. Stop blaming the federal gov't and then trying to get
them to bail out public. If you're concerned, get involved. Nothing Gore or
Bush can do will change what happens in local schools.
