Since when do they discourage roll calls??? I am a listowner of a
couple of lists on rootsweb as well as being member of the listowners
list and NEVER HAS THIS EVER BEEN SAID IN THE FOUR YEARS SINCE I HAVE
BEEN A LISTOWNER.

My understanding it that it is UP TO the individual choice of the
listowner.
