Thank you Anna and Margie! I wonder where the name Vandatta comes from? Grandpa was married in the states. His dad as the story(?) goes was black irish which means he probably came from Irelend, right?? Grandpa's mother was Italian as the story goes. Grandpa was in catholic school and was taught by the nuns in Italy and he said they were very mean to him. Would it be a fair guess to look into Ireland for the name VanDatta(americanized here)? You guys give me such hope and I sure appreciate it! Bless you.
