Mrs. Anna Alfonsi Cotter,
thank you very much for your message!
As I said to the ITALY-L Mailing List, and to the persons who did so,
before to say anything about anyone, especially in public, it would need
to get all precise information about!!!
I did post also a message from ItalianProject2002, to prove my
statements, and also to give Italian Help, Information, and Services to
this List that is about Italian Genealogy!
But, if you consider that as an "advertisement", and NOT a Very Useful
Tool for Italian Genealogical Researches and Translations, then I have
no problem at all with it, and I will not post it anymore!
Sincerely,
Carlo Tognoni

Hello all,
I can understand your need Carlo and Davide to defend yourself. I see from your previous messages that you are not and were never a mayor in Northern Italy. Your name was mistaken with another individual. You are currently living in the United States and you provide a service for genealogy research.
At this point, I must remind everyone as the list administrator that it is against the rootsweb mailing lists to advertise for genealogy research on these lists. All recommendations and complaints should be done off list.
Remember whenever you are doing your own research or someone is doing research for you that after you send a request out that sometimes you may get an immediate result and sometimes it will take months or years to find the information. The best recommendation is to keep an open line of communication between yourself and the other person.
Please email me directly if you have any comments or concerns.
Anna Alfonsi Cotter
