I'm just beginning a geneology search for my relationship with Italy. My grandmother Rosealina(or Rosalinda) Iafrate, later to marry John Gabriele and come into the United States. My grandparents had 9 children, the 10th Angelina, deceased after birth. With Florence, Ralph, Anthony, Tillman, Frances, Mary and Anna, of course the 9th living shall remain silent.

Florance married Frank Morelli, Ralph married Algie, Anthony married Elizabeth, Tillman married Rosemary, Frances married Albert Esselink, and Mary married Louis Palleschi. Then there was Anna, who married Louis Ciaffone, and the 9th shall remain silent and is still living.

There also seems to be a realationship between my family and the Contie family...but it dead ends there. I believe my grandparents Rosealina(Rosealinda) Iafrate is the granddaughter of a Contie, but I'm still looking. The closest I have been able to come is the Contie Steamship lines.

Can anyone out there help me???
