Hi Loretta,
It is always nice to hear from you.
About the churches, I played over and under and came
out with 25,987 churches in Italy. The first being ID 1
S. Antonio Abate di Castel, Viscardo (TR) Umbria
last S. Marco Evangelista di Caltanissetta (CL) Sicilia

This is what the game looks like:

There is only one thing wrong with this, they don't all
use the same code so there may be another 25,000
out there.
