VIRGINIA M. CAPOBIANCO - Warwick

01:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, August 3, 2004

VIRGINIA M. CAPOBIANCO, 92, of Blossom Court,
a native of Italy, died Saturday at Kent Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Constantine Capobianco.
Born in Borgesessia, Italy, a daughter of the late Daniel
and Maria (Alberti) Spallenza, she had immigrated to the
United States in 1919, when she was 8 years old. She had
lived in Warwick for 20 years, and previously had lived in
Palm Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Capobianco was a communicant of St. Gregory the
Great Church.

She leaves two sons, Carl J. Capobianco of Nanuet, N.Y.,
and David J. Capobianco of East Providence; a daughter,
Sandra M. Kerekes of Warwick; seven grandchildren; and
six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 11 a.m.
in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Ave.
Burial will be private.
