Hi Emma,
That is the right Laura Stansbury, she was staying with her Aunt Clara who was from the Stansbury side of the family. Beats me why the enumerator showed sister-in-law, it should have been neice-in-law. Laura m1 ? Ellis, divorced after a short time; and m2 Percy L. Beech. No children. They are both deceased and are on the SSDI. Could you send me the ED# and page for her parents on the 1910 census. I will forward more info on this family directly, if you want it.

wrote:Hi Everyone,
While we are on this family I have another question.

Jackson Alexander Ivester and Laura L. Hagler had a daughter Beulah Ivester -
b. Sept 1882 in Rhea Co., Tennessee - d. 12 June 1959 Jefferson Co., Alabama.
Beulah Ivester md John L. Stansbury Sr.

Beulah and John L. are in the 1910 census of Jefferson Co., Alabama as a
newly wed couple with no children.

Notice.. daughter Laura is not listed with the family. However, I found
this.....
1930 - Jefferson Co., Alabama
????ter, Arthur - head - 33 - md age 25 - NY-NY-NY - Fireman
Clara G. - wife - 27 - md age 19 - Tn-SC-SC
Harold - son - ? - s - Ala
Ormer(?) D. - son - 3 11/12 - s - Ala
Stansbury, Laura - sister-in-law - 18 - s - Ala-Ga-Tn - Bookkeeper Cafe

Now.. this appears to be the daughter of John L. Stansbury and Beulah
Ivester. But... how is she the sister-in-law in this family?????

Any ideas anyone????????????
Take care all - Emma
