I will be going to Toronto August 20th for a family visit and will have a
bit of time to do some genealogy research while there. So as not to waste
time going to unhelpful places, I was wondering if someone in the know
could give me a few tips on good places for searching. My focus
specifically is County Wexford to Quebec or Irish emigration to Canada
between 1818 and 1843. I wondered about the public library system (if yes,
which branch?) Is the University of Toronto or York worth a look somewhere?
And isn't there a genealogical library also in Toronto?
Any advice gratefully received with thanks,
Eleanor
