My great great grandfather was Chamberlain Sellers Bilbrey, son of Hansford
and Barbara Belk Bilbrey. He was referred to as Sellers Bilbrey. His 1st wife
was Mary Pitts and 2nd wife was Rebecca France.

This past week in Livingston TN deed records section, I tried to pinpoint
exactly where my ancestors were living. So, I read a lot of the deeds that
are there, one inparticular caught my attention.

It is a quitclaim deed from the HEIRS of Sellers Bilbrey to Dora McCowan, who
is Sellers daughter. The deed was transferred to her for payment for the care
of our beloved father C.S. Bilbrey until his death Jan 5 1918. ( I thought
his death was July 1919, according to his tombstone.)

The signers of this quitclaim deed are as follows:
O.V. Bilbrey (Overton V)
J.E. Bilbrey ( Joseph E.)
A.J. Bilbrey ( Andrew Jackson)
A.V. Bilbrey (Alvis, I never knew he had a middle name)
Lou E. Phillips (daughter who md Alvin Bunion Phillips)
Nancy A. Phillips (Dau, who md Joel Phillips)
Q.V. Norrod ( dau, who md Virgil A. Norrod)
Ras Bilbrey (only son by Rebecca France)
Lizzie Lee (dau who md Kenneth Lee)
and an EDNA WHITAKER, I have no idea who she is and how she fits into the
descendants of Sellers Bilbrey. Can anyone help me find this Edna Whitaker ?

This transfer was dated April 30th 1918 with signatures of some of the heirs,
the last dated material concerning this quitclaim is dated 29th May 1922
