Subject: [JACOBS] Jacobs Family History - A Bibliography (Version B)

Jacobs Researchers,

The Society begins a bibliography of formerly published books containing
histories of the Jacobs families in America. Some of you mentioned you
had published or know of published books regarding the various Jacobs
Families in America and Canada. If so, would you be so kind as to
append the information in a similar format as below. If privately
published, please note that also.

Here's an update to the first bibliography posted to the list. As we
update these we assign various version letters or numbers to designate
the most recent bibliography to date. Those of you who have responded
and contributed, I am also sending it under separate cover so that you
can see how we begin our studies and the format which facilitates the
research. Unfortunately these options are not available through the
rootsweb mailing lists.. I'll desist sending this data to the Jacobs
mailing list - so that it won't clog up the list with a bunch of boring
histories, etc.

Again, thanks so much,

David R. Smith, Pres.
