Again, I begin this email by apologizing to anyone that receives it by
mistake. Please, just delete it, for this will be the "last message" sent
on this subject by a quick group BCC Mailing. Otherwise, ...

I am proud to announce that I have managed to acquire and present the needed
documents/records to prove the two generations of my Jacob/Jacobs family
history that were in question by the National Office for the Daughters of
the American Revolution (DAR) in Washington, DC.

These records have been "reviewed, accepted and approved as proof" of these
two generations, as of last Friday, October 31, 2003. This means that the
DAR is "completely satisfied" that I have proven my lineage with my
Jacob/Jacobs research and that I have backed up my family history claims
with the necessary records.

In the end, I have not only proven my proud heritage and lineage by this
approval. I have also proven that I was right about the Jacob family I was
researching and showed as belonging to my Jacobs family history. In other
words, that I did not research the "incorrect people" at any given time or
at any period in Alabama's, Georgia's, and Maryland's history.

I am also the 'very first' to have proven a lineage through Benjamin
Mordecai Jacob, "son of" Benjamin (Patriot) and Eleanor (Odell) Jacob. The
National DAR has confirmed this as a fact! This proving was not an easy
task by any measure and I would like to make that clear. Anyone researching
this family through any of the southern family lines can attest to this.

So, if anyone receiving this email is trying to prove lineage through this
same line (son Benjamin), or if you know anyone who is, by all means get in
touch with me (private email), and hopefully I can help you. Make sure the
subject line to the email reads: Jacob/Jacobs Family Research & Proving.
