Hello Brenda,

Your JAMES line sounds a lot like mine, but some of the geography is
wrong, but I wonder about a possible link anyway.

My Phillip James (1790-1840's) was married in Georgia about 1812 to a
Sarah Windham. They had seven children, including a William, born about
1815, but he was born in Warren County, Georgia and not in Greene Co.,
MS. Are you certain of the birth location? My William was in Autauga
County, AL up until about 1845, then he disappears before the Civil War.
He had a brother named Phillip born about 1820, who married a Mary M.
Windham in 1841. They migrated to Pontotoc Co., MS.
