I am searching for info on THOMAS JEFFERSON JAMES also known as
"Tack" he was born 4 July 1862 Forsyth Co. Ga.(son of Thomas Caryl
James &Frances F. Holbrook) Tack married (1) Mary "Molly" Boatfield
20 Feb.1878,Floyd Co., Ga. They had one child John Louis James b. 9
Sept.
1879, Ceder Bluff, Cherokee Co., Al.(my grandfather). Tack is said to
have married at least three more times after the death of Mary "Mooo"
(she died 6 April
1880). He was listed on the 1900 census in Hunt co. Tx. with a M.E.
James who is listed as his wife and one chilod, Ollie listed as his
daughter.
Looking for any more info or known descendents of Tack.
