I am seeking the parents and siblings of Anna JEEMS/JAMES, who married my
ggg grandfather Armenius CARY in Lafayette County, Missouri in 1827. Family
sources say she was born in Claiborne Co, Tennessee, in 1807 and had a
sister Rachel JEEMS/JAMES who married Richard POWELL. Family stories say
that these sisters were the nieces of Robert JAMES, father of the "JAMES
boys," but they are older than his oldest brother, so can't be nieces.
Maybe cousins?
