Hello all,
I'm looking for info on my great-grandfather, Henry (Albert?) James (b.24
May 1855, UK (possibly England). He was the son of Robert James b?, Wales.
I don't know his mother's name.
Henry married Sarah Hale (b. 4 May 1870 Eng.). She was the daughter of
Matthew? Hale & Elizabeth Matthews (b. 10 Dec 1849 Eng. dau. of Henry
Mathews & Eliza Roberts).
Sarah and Henry had 6 children- their first child Harry (Henry) John James,
my grandfather, was b. England 1892, after the family had moved to South
Orange, New Jersey, from England about 1890.
I'm wondering if anyone ties into these families. I haven't been able to
locate the birthplace of either my grandfather or great-grandfather. Thank
