Folks......this new virus is proving to be "VERY" active. We wanted to
bring it to your attention again in an effort to help you all avoid it.
This is what the virus looks like in the message body :

Hypercool Happy New Year 2000 funny programs and animations... We attached
our recent animation from this site in our mail ! Check it out !

Then there is an EXE file available for you to click on. "DO NOT" click
on the file. That is the WORM/VIRUS.
The virus protection sites are reporting that once you have clicked on
that file name and launched the worm/virus it writes to your hard drive
files and sets up a method of being able to email itself out to people in
your address book and you have no way of being aware that is it sending
itself. The person who receives the mailing assumes it's a safe message
because it is showing you as the sender. That is how it is spread to
other computers.
Go to these sites and read up on this worm/virus. Check your system and
be on the alert.......even if you have a virus program installed on your
system. The virus only surfaced on Dec. 13th and your virus protection
program will need to be updated in order to detect it........
