I myself am trying to find the parents of Thomas Redmon James born in NC*
between 1770-1780; Married Sarah Mahala Crowder in 1810 in Buncombe or Burke
Co, NC. Has anyone been doing any recent work on this man?
*According to the 1880 Buncombe Co, (Leicester P.O.), NC fed census his son
Thomas Redmon James Jr states that both his parents were born in NC. James
Jr's mother Sarah M Crowder James, living with her son, also states that she
and both her parents were born in NC.
