Researching Henry Milton James & wife Lucy Ann Daniels, both ancestors &
descendants.

Henry's mother was Clarinda James. Father is still uncertain at the present
time, but believed to have been a John James, who was a casualty of the
Civil War. Clarinda James filed a widow's pension application while living
in Randolph County, AL.

According to the Pine Hill precinct 14, Randolph County, AL 1900, the family
was listed as:

Henry M. James, head of household, white married male, age 31, born April
1869, born TN, father born GA, mother born GA; occupation: farmer; married
10 years.

Lucy James, wife, white married female, born March 1875, age 25, born AL,
father born AL, mother born AL. Married 10 years / mother of 5 children
born - 3 still living.

Those three children still living were:
Evie M. James, age 5
Henry M. James, age 3
Emit C. James, age 3 months

Also listed as living in this household was Henry Milton James' mother:

Clarandy James, mother, widowed white female, born April 1843, age 53, born
GA, father born GA, mother born SC; mother of 9 children / 7 still living.

Also of note is the fact that Henry Milton James & Lucy Ann Daniels were
married around 1890 but no census report exists for that year.
