Thanks for the information and any clarification that the dates for Robert Jameson of 1832-1908 can be proven correct or incorrect.

He is definitely the Robert Jameson (Manufacturer who formed a company in South Africa known as Jameson's Jam). These goods were exported to Canada and Australia and were well known throughout South Africa.

I have the Death Certificate of Reyburn Jameson 1876 - 1949 in my possession and his father's name is Robert Jameson (Manufacturer) but no dates for him.

My main interest is to find out the name of this Robert Jameson's father.
