I'm looking for relatives!
My ggggrandfather was Franz Janzen, who was born on February 21, 1845 in Russia, and died in late 1880 in Ebenfeld Manitoba. He had married Helena Mary Enns in 1867, and they immigrated to Canada on July 20, 1875, on the ship "S.S. Quebec". They had eight children, four of which survived to adulthood. Aganetha Janzen married David Quiring, Heinrich Janzen married Katharina Wiens, Helena Janzen married Heinrich Letkeman, and Frank Janzen married Maria Wiens (Peters). Frank and Maria had two children, Frank and Henry, and then Maria died when Henry was six weeks old. Frank then married Aganetha Blatz on June 28, 1900. They had Agnes, ABRAHAM(b. Nov. 28, 1902), Helena, Elizabeth, David, Andrew, and a baby that died at birth, along with Aganetha. So Frank married Katharina Peters (Giesbrecht) and had Susana, Wilhelm, Annie, Mary, Pete and Katharina.
Abraham Janzen married Annie (Heinrichs) (b May 30, 1919) on November 17, 1938. They had Joan, JAMES (b Oct. 9, 1939), Gertie, Harvey, Norman, Wayne, Terry and Linda.
James married Marie (Rempel) (b. Oct 3, 1947) and they had Richard Abe (October 25, 1964). Richard and Bridget (McCallum) then had two daughters Kayla (May 20, 1987) (that would be me!), and Kyra (September 6, 1990).
I'm just interested to see if anyone out there can make a connection...
