Lived in Isle of Wight and Surry Co - Lawnes Parish (3).

Was indentured to William Marriot (and others before Mariott) until he
protested before the Surry County, Court

Cavaliers and Pioneers by Nell Nugent, page 367:

In 1641, John Bishop was granted land for transporting 6 persons, one
of whom was Thomas Jarrell, and another who was WILLIAM MARRIOTT.

SURRY COUNTY, VIRGINIA COURT RECORDS 1652-1663, BOOK I, pg [117]-119.

Tho. Jarrell Aged 23 yeares or thereabouts swor---& examined before us
the 29th Aprill 1658 That the depts. Master MARRIOTT sent him ffrom
