JENKINS, JAMES from Kentucky/Virginia to GEORGIA.
Of the well-off Catholic (WELSH) Maryland JENKINS family. Born after
(about) 1775 - came to GA in beginning of 1800s. What happened to James
after getting to Georgia? RICHARD JENKINS is possibly father or son to
JAMES JENKINS. Related at least by marriage to the OVERTON and SEAY
families. Descended from James Jenkins b. about 1743 in Lunenburg Parish
(County), Richmond, Virginia. Died aft. 1790 prob. in Kentucky who married
Rebecca Booker.
