Co., VA; m. 28 Dec 1834 in Union twp., Clinton Co., OH to Rebecca GOLEANOR
(dau. of William Benjamin GOLEANOR and Eleanor "Elsy" SHEPHERD, b. ca 1814,
possibly in Union twp., Clinton Co., OH; she d. after her husband died); he
was a grocer and a shoemaker; he d. 9 or 10(?) Aug 1881, of an "internal
injury", in Terre Haute, Champaign Co., OH; had the following children:
Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Martha, Isabelle (Isabella) E., Melvina, Harriete
(Harriet), Arabell (Arabella), Charles N., Lina, Amanda, William
