I have always thought that THOMAS JENKINS was married to ANN SPALDING. Never came upon the name SUSANNAH.

"Nov 15th, 1670.
THOMAS JENKINS, of Charles County, came, and proved right to one hundred acres of land for his transportation of himself and ANN, his wife, unto this Province, to inhabit in anno, 1670. Warrent then issued in the name of the said Thomas Jenkins for one hundred acres of land, it being due him for the consideration mentioned."

To sons and daus. (after decease of wife), viz. Edward, William, Elizabeth Edlen and Ann Spaulding, residue of personal estate, wife's thirds excepted.

ANN JENKINS wrote her will on 25 Jun 1729 and it was probated in Charles Co., on 3 Dec 1729 (will 19:836).
Her granddaughter Elizabeth Winsor, and her daughter Mary Norris received personalty.
Her daughter Elizabeth was deceased and each of her four children shared equally in the one-sixth share of their mother's estate.
Her sons Edward and William were to be her executors and to receive the rest of her estate. On 17 Feb 1729 Edward Jenkins and William Jenkins admin. her estate, valued at £284.01.06 (Inv 15:394).
The next of kin on her inventory were her grandaughters Susannah Jenkins and Henrietta Jenkins.
Included in her inventory were five slaves, a crucifix and some pictures.
