I have a nice little family story written by a 97 yr old Jenkins. He claimed
that my GG grandfather,
Jesse Jenkins b 1833/35 was the son of Benjamin Jenkins and that Benjamin had a
brother Zeb-
they were both born in KY and that their father was Thomas Jenkins who lived to
be 112 yr old
and fought with Daniel Boone (imagine everyone claimed the Boone part).

I have found evidence that Jesse was the son of Benjamin Jenkins b 1811
Montgomery Co, KY,
married 1827 Putnam Co, IN and I don't know where he died or when.

He is said to be the son of Elijah Jenkins b 1770 Cumberland Gap, VA, married
1796 Clark Co,
KY to Elizabeth Myers and died 1862 Putnam Co, IN.

Does any of this sound familiar? I am trying to tie all these people together
with documentation.
