Hi!

I am new to this list so hope this question has not been discussed and
rediscussed, if so, sorry. I am reading "Jesse James Was His Name" by
William A. Settle, Jr. Mr. Settle states that Jesse James was not the
son of Rev. James but rather the son on a local doctor and that Rev.
James left his wife due to her unfaithfulness. Does anybody know that
doctor's name? Am wondering if the "Woodson" could be a clue. Family
history has it our Wood family was related to Jesse James. They were
from MO.

Thank you.

Charlotte
