David, you have either intentionally or inadvertently missed my point, AGAIN.
The copy of the picture of Diannah in Betty's book is from a very damaged
picture that was given her by Mae Courtney Thompson. That is the picture that
was altered by the time it got into the book. The better preserved picture,
the original that had belonged to Theodore N Haun, which I have told you is
in the possession of Harold Haun in Topeka, and which I posted on
www.andruss.net/courtney.htm, clearly shows that Diannah is seated, both
hands in her lap, and holding a fan in her right hand. We all know that
Zerelda lost her right arm in the Pinkerton bombing in 1875. Zerelda died in
1911. This picture of Diannah and her four sons was taken in 1915. As for
Visionics - I have talked to Megan Tormey, twice, trying to get this
better-preserved picture examined by them, and was told quite briskly that
they have nothing to say on the matter, that they should never have been
involved, and there is NO WAY they will examine any more pictures for anyone
in this family. Perhaps Betty could use her great powers of persuasion for
us. Visionics did the examinations for her at no charge, we'd be glad to pay
the going rate if they would just do it for us.

Kathy
