Looking for info on the following:
Thompson Johnston 1811-1888 (born Ireland) married Nancy Ann Moore 1816-1887
(Born Hull Twp.). They had the following children all born in Clarendon Twp.:
- George Johnston 1836-1894 married Rachel Ann Dean 1833-1896. They had 9
children.
- Isaac Johnston 1838-1926 married Elizabeth Ann Brazier 1842-1890. They
had 14 children.
- Margaret Johnston 1841-?? married Michael Thomas W. Watman 1819-??
married in 1867.
son - William Henry Johnston born 1863 and 11 children after marriage. She
is believed to have died in Toronto.
- Elizabeth Johnston 1843-?? married James Wilkie ??-??. They had 10
children. She died in Ottawa.
- Mary Jane Johnston1845-1913 married Robert Daniel Howard. They had 10
children. She also married George Lane and died in Ottawa.
- Lyddia Johnston 1852-?? married John Dean ??-1888. They had 10 children.
I believe Lyddia married a Mr. Doyle and moved to Toronto prior to 1913.
- Thompson Johnston 1856-1937 (My great grandfather) married Sarah Jane
Maitland 1851-1914. They had 4 children. 2nd marriage to Sarah (Brazier)
Johnston( yes his sister in law), and 3rd marriage Eliza Ann (Bole)Coburn (
She is another story).
- William James Johnston1860-1909 married Sarah Brazier. They had 2
children and adopted 1.
