There was a Sarah Johnson who married James B. Buford 5 Dec 1797. The
marriage most likely took place in Virginia or Kentucky. Sarah was born
23 March 1773 and died 13 Nov 1822 probably in Scott Co., Kentucky.
Their children were:
Parthena
Pamelia
Berena
William H.
Lucy H.
Thomas M.
Almeda D.
Lucy H. married Hiram Calvert 25 Sept 1828 in Scott Co., Kentucky.
Almeda D. married Edward Johnson 15 May 1834.
Does anyone have any information on this Sarah Johnson and her
family, or on the Edward Johnson who married Almeda D. Buford? I'm also
searching for more information on this Buford family. So far, I've been
unable to connect them with other Bufords or Johnsons in Virginia and
Kentucky. They do no appear in Marcus Bainbridge Buford's A GENEALOGY
OF THE BUFORD FAMILY IN AMERICA.
