Looking for any information ( or anything, this is one of my brick
walls!) on ancestors of Gideon Johnson b abt 1770 CT (Per Ogle Co IL
census 1860) occupation carpenter. Lived over 81 years. m. Abigail
Parker b abt 1770 (they were listed as the same age in the 1860 census
cited above).

Gideon and Abigail lived at Water Valley, Erie Co NY and left there
about 1836 for Kane Co IL. Children: Caroline became wife #2) of
Truman Austin, farmer, Hamburg NY>Leroy NY. Porter (son) who became a
methodist minister, Emory (no info) and Maria (sometimes spelled as
Mariah) b 1800 VT m 1) John Parker lived Hamburg NY John d abt 1838
children of Maria and John: Ozro W. b 1826 NY , Caroline b 1832 NY,
Mary b 1833 NY and John b 1835 NY. 2) Mr. Cunningham and moved to
Peoria, IL.
