I am in the process of updating the research of my great uncle. His
earliest listed Johnson is Dabney Johnson. We think he was born between
1780-1790 in Virginia (although we are not sure on the location). He
died in July 1835 in Jackson County, MO. His wife was Elizabeth Burnett
(her maiden name is questionable). Our records show him having 8
children: John, Jeremiah, Lucy, Elizabeth, Sarah Jane, Binford, Thomas
McBride, and Mary Ann. If anyone has information on this line of
Johnsons, please let me know. I am particularly interested in Dabney and
where he came from, as well as his parents.
