I am looking for the parents of a Joseph Samuel JOHNSON born c. 1846 in NC
and died 14 Dec 1900 in Lonoke or Prairie Co. AR. His wife was Margaret E.
BLACKWOOD who was born c. 1846 in NC and died 22 Aug 1901 in Lonoke or
Prairie Co., AR. They were married 20 Oct 1864 in Itawamba Co., MS.
Margaret's parents were Gideon BLACKWOOD and Affy MAUNEY, they were both born
c. 1798 in Lincoln Co., NC. Joseph and Margaret's children were: (this is
according to the 1880 census for Young Co., TX)
Barzetta born c. 1865 in MS
James W. born c. 1868 in MS
Elizabeth born c. 1872 in MS
Ellen born c. 1874 in MS
William Joseph or Joseph William born 13 Mar 1879 Parker Co., TX. He
died 28
Jan 1940 in Lonoke Co., AR. His wife was Willie May CATO born 24 Mar
1883
in Lonoke Co., AR and died 25 Mar 1930. They were married 23 Feb 1902
in
Lonoke Co., AR.
Any help in finding Joseph Samuel JOHNSON's parents is greatly appreciated.
