I am in hopes someone may be able to help with my Johnson Family
connection. I have an old picture with a hand written note
on the back "Grandma Johnson" however I do not know who she is.

My G Granduncle Mead Brundage Spurgeon married Rachel Johnson.

Arminda Bernard Spurgeon my G Grandmother married first George
Washington Coatney then Daniel Johnson then Robert Cook.

My other G Grandmother Mary Eveline Townsend married first
William Curtis Morgan then William J. Johnson. Together they had
George Johnson, Hattie Johnson (not to be confused with my
Grandmother Hattie Magnolia Morgan Coatney also a daughter of
Mary Eveline Townsend), and Daisy Johnson. Interesting that Mary Townsend named
two daughters Hattie (possibly Hestor?) one by each of her two
husbands.

On my mothers side I have Ida Johnson who married Peter Charles
Kent. Sarah Johnson who married James G. Blaine Kent.

Joseph Johnson married Julia Townsend who was a Great Aunt of
Mary Townsend.

Wendy Johnson married Mark Arnold an Archibald Coatney
descendent.

I fully believe some of these Johnson's are related. If you have
any additional information on this Johnson Family please help me
out.

All of these Johnson's lived at one time in southern Indiana primarily Scott
and surrounding Counties.
