RE: Michael Johnson, Paula Johnson
I will mail you direct with all I have, but wanted to post this much
here.

In reference to your Stephen Johnson, with brother James T; do you have
their parents? and/or where they came from?
My Johnsons, by family lore, supposedly came from Alabama, but I have
never found them anywhere. The same lore has suggested they came thru
Tenn.
Two brothers, George Washington and Jonney (John?) went to & died in
Grant co Ark, but I can't find any info on the others.
A cousin believes that the parents were John and Elizabeth Johnson, but
I have not seen the records.
The line is supposedly/possibly this:
JOHN JOHNSON born 1814 in South Carolina, and died Abt. 1861 in
Arkansas.
ELIZABETH (JOHNSON) Abt. 1834.

Children:

JONNEY JOHNSON, b. September 1835, Alabama?; d. October 1908, Arkansas.
Buried: Providence Cemetery, Grant county, Arkansas.

STEPHEN JOHNSON
ELIZABETH JOHNSON
JAMES T JOHNSON
MARY (MARTHA?) JOHNSON
HENRY A JOHNSON

GEORGE WASHINGTON JOHNSON,
b. February 15, 1855, Alabama?; d. September 10, 1899, Sheridan, Grant,
Arkansas.

The similarity of family names makes me wonder if mine is a cousin
branch of yours.
There was a Willis Johnson descended from G W Johnson too.

Thanks, Randy
